Overview
Duke of Dandyshire is one of four knights in the series, inspired by reredos, medieval mythology, and tales of chivalry. True to his name, he is playful, flirty, and camp in aesthetic. His armour becomes a character in its own right — expressive, decorative, and full of personality. Printed on a clean white background, the piece offers breathing space for framing while brimming with colour and charm.
Style & Colour
Dandyshire’s armour shines in bright yellows, emerald greens, and sugary baby pinks, with his helmet glowing like a sunrise against the vibrant backdrop. Floral decoration and abstract shapes proudly adorn his armour, reflecting his flamboyant, light-hearted nature. Behind him lies a background of lilacs and powdered blues, adding a cool contrast to his warm and vivid palette.
The armour sits at the centre of a reredos-inspired frame, ornamented with playful details: two bouncy blue bows, a radiant sunflower to one side, and a pair of vessels — a ginger jar and matching jug. A yellow porcelain bunny, a recurring motif, makes an appearance tying him to the wider collection.
Collage-inspired and drawing on home décor, patterned walls, and ornamental design, the work balances grandeur with a sense of homeliness. Digitally assembled from hand-drawn motifs, scanned textures, and tablet-drawn details, it layers linoleum-inspired patterns and felt-tip textures to create rich ornamentation.
Perfect for a maximalist space, or a home with maximal potential, Duke of Dandyshire brings wit, vibrancy, and a playful spirit, alongside a welcoming sense of homeliness.

Short overview:
A bold burst of colour, Meditation Symphony 2 places my cherished ginger jar at the centre, surrounded by favourite motifs: four little bunnies, a lady in a blue dress, a snazzy gentleman, fairytale shoes, my little jinn house, birds, and large stones from Granny Vera’s garden.
Style & colour:
Vivid blue and pink tones dominate, delivering a striking, high-contrast palette. Digitally assembled from hand-drawn patterns and sketches, scanned textures, and additional details digitally rendered with my tablet and pen. This piece plays with unexpected colour pairings, layered textures, and ornate decoration work for an eye-catching, richly detailed finish.
