Giraffes

‘Giraffes’ is a vibrant series of three gold foil artworks, originally born from a simple idea: to create a giraffe pattern in three colourways—red, green and blue.

What began as a pattern experiment quickly evolved. I was inspired by the idea of giraffe necks weaving gracefully through foxglove flowers and dense foliage: elegant forms moving in and out of a lush, ornamental world. The patterns took on a life of their own, and I found myself so drawn to them that I decided to develop each one into a fully realised artwork.

Each piece in the series now stands as its own ‘Meditation Symphony’. Each a bold, decorative composition filled with intricate detail and joyful colour. The gold foil elements bring a richness and shimmer that changes with the light, adding a sense of magic to the work.

Designed to bring a punch of colour to any space, these artworks offer a moment of visual delight, novelty, life, and detail induced meditation all at once.
