Three pairs of ornate shoes, tiny houses, and other treasures add to the layered detail, with a salvaged pattern reimagined at the base of the composition.
Style & colour:
Lush greens, soft pinks, and vibrant reds form a rich, harmonious palette. This artwork takes inspiration from Tibetan thangkas, Buddhist mandalas and traditional still life paintings. Digitally assembled from hand-drawn patterns and sketches, scanned textures, and additional details rendered with my tablet and pen. A celebration of pattern, repurposing, and storytelling through intricate ornamentation.
